Every trim level features these six safety -focused technologies.
First up is Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection. This monitors your car’s speed as well as anything or anyone on the road ahead of you. If a collision is likely to occur, even between you and a pedestrian or cyclist, the brakes will automatically be engaged.
Rear Automatic Braking helps you when you are in reverse, monitoring for any objects you may bump into. Here, the brakes can also automatically be engaged.
Blind Spot Warning helps mitigate for one of the most consistently dangerous risks of driving: Objects in your blind spot. If a vehicle is in your blind spot, then Nissan’s Pathfinder with Blind Spot Warning will alert you, so that you do not make a dangerous lane change.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert makes backing out of a parking lot or driveway an easier affair. Smart technology will alert you when your vehicle gets close to a potential colliding object.
Lane Departure Warning ensures that you do not drift into other lanes. The steering wheel will (gently) buzz you as an alert if you are in danger of drifting.
Lastly, High Beam Assist will automatically change your high beams when a vehicle is detected, saving your fellow drivers from being blinded.
